Our Programs

A full continuum of care — from your first sober day to the rest of your life.

Recovery is a path, not a single program. Every BARC client moves through three phases — detox, then residential inpatient in our gender-separate facilities, then outpatient — without ever switching providers.

01
Stage One

Medically Assisted Detox

Every BARC journey starts here. A thorough physical and mental evaluation, 24/7 medical supervision on site, and a detox plan approved and signed by an M.D. on staff.

  • Round-the-clock medical monitoring
  • Medication-assisted withdrawal management
  • Plan customized to substance, age, history
  • Direct hand-off into inpatient care

02
Stage Two

Inpatient Residential Rehab

Men and women are segmented into their own facilities in Dickinson, TX so they can focus on recovery without distractions. 30, 60, or 90 days in a residential setting.

  • Men's-only & women's-only houses
  • Personalized counseling, individual work
  • Group sessions designed to identify causes
  • Addictionologist (M.D.) on staff

03
Stage Three

Outpatient (IOP & SOP)

Once a client leaves inpatient, they enter an outpatient program. Ongoing support and reinforcement of the path to sobriety as they rejoin society.

  • Clear Lake, Pearland, Pasadena, Woodlands
  • Intensive (IOP) and Supportive (SOP) tracks
  • Part-time options for working parents
  • Aftercare, alumni meetings, relapse prevention

They helped my son get off drugs. He's almost 2 years clean now and I'm so proud of him. If anyone needs help, go there.

Common Questions

Answers to what most families ask first.

How quickly can I get admitted?
Most clients can start same-day or next-day, depending on the program. Call (281) 508-1352 — our admissions team can walk you through availability and insurance verification in one phone call.
Does BARC take my insurance?
We're in-network with most major providers including BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Magellan, Ambetter, and more. Verify free in under 10 minutes.
What if I can't afford treatment / don't have insurance?
We offer some of the most competitive self-pay rates in Houston and will work with you on payment. Transparent billing means no surprise charges. Call us and we'll talk through what's possible.
What substances do you treat?
Alcohol, opioids, heroin, fentanyl, Xanax and other benzodiazepines, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription drugs, and any other substance with addictive properties.
Are men and women treated together?
No — our inpatient residential programs are gender-separate. We have a dedicated men's facility and a dedicated women's facility, both in Dickinson, TX. Outpatient groups can be coed.
How long do programs last?
Inpatient residential runs 30, 60, or 90 days depending on your needs. Detox is typically 5–10 days. Outpatient (IOP/SOP) varies based on your progress and aftercare plan.
Is it really confidential?
